about
This track is the first single from solo artist Soul Williams off the recent release EP, Kairos Music Group Presents: The Making of Supreme Moments, Vol.1. Be on the look out for the Remix feat. B-Dawn and Apoc of The Exodus Movement which will be available on the full length Compilation album dropping 08.16.11.
Brief history on the cover and why I decided to release this track on this day, this cover was inspired by the incident that occurred on May 14, 1961, Mothers Day (50 years ago) in Anniston, Alabama with The Freedom Riders. Where a mob of Ku Klux Klansmen, attacked and firebombed the buses as they traveled to segregated southern states to test the US Supreme Court of the decision of Boynton v. Virginia (read about it). The interesting part about the entire movement and what touched me, after being bombed and attempted murder, the survivors after the incident still had enough Jesus in them to comment and say they still "Love the people that did this to them...." Now, that's how you "Love the Hell Out of Em"...
